Privacy Policy

This policy explains how GAO JIAK GAI PTE. LTD. (UEN 202626151N), the official distributor of Ruff Bar® products in Singapore ("Ruff Bar SG", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use ruffbarsg.com. We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect

• Google sign-in details — if you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture. We never see your Google password.
• Order and delivery details — name, phone number, email, delivery address and postal code, the products you order (including Starter Pack flavour picks) and any allergy notes for subscriptions.
• Your dog's Instagram handle — only if you choose to give it at checkout.
• Account activity — order history, loyalty points, store credit and promo codes used.
• Messages — what you send us through the contact form, Instagram or Telegram.

We do not collect or store your card or bank details. Payments are processed by HitPay on their secure page.

How we use it

• To process, pack and deliver your orders, and send order confirmations.
• To run your account: loyalty points, store credit, the one-per-account Starter Pack and account-specific promo codes.
• To answer your questions and provide customer support.
• If you share your dog's Instagram handle, we may contact you about featuring your dog — we'll always ask before posting.
• To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us run the shop, and only what they need:

• Supabase — secure database and Google sign-in.
• HitPay — payment processing.
• Ninja Van and other couriers — delivery (name, phone and address).
• Resend and EmailJS — sending order confirmation and contact emails.
• Vercel — website hosting.

Some of these providers store data outside Singapore; we use reputable providers that protect it to a comparable standard.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed for delivery, customer support and our accounting and legal obligations. Account data is kept while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your choices and rights

• Ask to see or correct the personal data we hold about you.
• Withdraw consent or ask us to delete your account and data (we may need to keep order records required by law).
• You can remove our access to your Google account anytime at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. We do not use advertising cookies.
